ITINERARY

Your guide meets you at your hotel around 08:30-09:00 am and you join us for a full-day walking tour to explore Istanbul's old city since all sites are located within walking distance. The tour finishes around 16:00 pm and you make your own way to the hotel. The sights of the tour are as shown below;

The first stop is the Hagia Sophia, the symbol of Christianity that comes from Byzantium time. It had been used as a museum until 2020 and converted into Mosque today. The tour guide explains the history and the meanings & tips about the breathtaking mosaics and frescoes in the Hagia Sophia. Next, we are going to the Blue Mosque called which is another name for Sultanahmet Cami. This is one of the most symbolic examples of the Mosques constructed during the Ottoman Empire period, which you may explore in Istanbul. At Topkapi Palace which is residential of the Sultans of the Ottoman Empire, you closely explore and examine the sections of the Ottoman Sultans’ incredibly magnificent life. At last, we take you to the Basilica Cistern to see and learn about the aqueducts and water systems that were used centuries ago during the Byzantium period.

Important Notice

Topkapi Palace is closed on Tuesdays and replaced with an underground cistern.
Hagia Sophia is closed on Mondays and replaced with an underground cistern.

This is a walking tour since all the sights are within walking distance. Therefore, we come by walking to pick up our guests from the hotel in the old city area of Istanbul. If you stay out of this area, we offer you pick-up service at an additional cost.
