Gallipoli is a peninsula located at Dardanelles Strait and is also known as the place where the Australian and New Zealand Akkied Forces (ANZAC) landed and fought alongside the Turkish forces during World War I. After this battle, Ataturk would like them to sleep in peace in our country by reserving memorials in their honor.

ITINERARY

Your guide picks you up from your hotel in Istanbul around 06:30-07:00 am, and we depart to Gallipoli by driving. On our way, a small breakfast packet is served for you in the car. After driving 5 hours you arrive at Gallipoli and start your visits to different memorials of Dardanelles; Brighton Beach, Beach Cemetery, ANZAC Cove, Ariburnu Cemetery, ANZAC Commemorative Site, Respect to Mehmetcik Statue, Lone Pine Australian Memorial, Johnstons Jolly (Turkish and Allied trenches and tunnels), and Turkish 57. Infantry Regiment Cemetery, The Nek, Chunuk Bair New Zealand Memorial. You are going to have your lunch at a traditional Turkish restaurant.

After your tour at Gallipoli, we drive you back to Istanbul. You arrive at your hotel before midnight. End of our service.

Travel Tips:
Gallipoli can be very cold and snowy in winter, so provide yourself with winter clothes.
Springs and autumns are rainy, do not forget your umbrella or raincoat!
The summer is humid and hot, put enough sun cream and bring your hat.
