Ephesus is a well-preserved ruin where you can see valuable remains from the Hellenistic, Roman, and early Christian eras.

Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Fly to Cappadocia from Istanbul & Join Northern Cappadocia tour(*L)
Pick up from your hotel in the morning to take a flight from Istanbul (Istanbul or Sabiha Gokcen Airport) to Cappadocia (Nevsehir or Kayseri Airport). You do self-check-in at the domestic terminal presenting your passport and an electronic ticket to the check-in counter according to your flight time. The electronic ticket is sent to you by us at the time of reservation. On your arrival, your driver welcomes you at the exit gate with your names written on a board. He takes you to our local office in Cappadocia after driving for about 1 hour. You meet with your guide and other guests joining the tour, and then you depart for Northern Cappadocia Tour.

Your visit starts from Goreme Panorama, where you are impressed by its splendid landscape over Goreme village, the land of fairy chimneys.  The next stop is the Open Air Museum, the biggest monastery complex of the region. You continue with Ortahisar, a typical village with its castle and cave food storage. At Fairy Chimney Valley / Pasabag, you see one of the most interesting places with its mushroom-like formed rocks. Passing through Imagination Valley, Devrent, you can find natural rock formations in many recognizable shapes. For your lunch, you enjoy in a restaurant with an open buffet variety. Finally, you walk along Red River flourishing Avanos town which is famous for pottery cave workshops dating thousand years back to Hittites, the first civilization of Cappadocia. You are going to have fun trying to make pottery after you have a small demonstration. At last, you get into Love Valley which offers a magnificent view. After the tour, we transfer to you the hotel. Overnight in Cappadocia.

Day 2: Southern Cappadocia tour & Fly to Izmir (*B *L)
Note: Hot Air Balloon Flight is available as optional for this morning.

Your guide take you from your hotel around 09:30-09:45 am then you join your tour.
Your visit starts with Uchisar Castle, the biggest fairy chimney used as a fortress by many civilizations. Then be ready to hike about 4km in beautiful Red Valley passing through Rose Valley. You discover beautiful rock churches while hiking, and arrive at Cavusin village, one of the ancient settlements of the region with its cave houses. For lunch, you are going to taste delicious Turkish cuisine at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon you are amazed by Kaymakli Underground City. This is the widest underground city in the region served for many centuries as a refuge for the local people and saved early Christians from Roman persecution. Then you visit Pigeon Valley where lovely pigeons are still living in their houses carved in rock. You can also enjoy a wonderful view over Uchisar Castle from here. Finally, you are going to Three Beauties Valley with its beautiful view over Urgup town famous for its wine factories.

End of the tour your driver take you to the airport to fly to Izmir. On your arrival, our agents wait for you by holding a board with your names written on at the exit gate in the domestic terminal. Then we transfer you to your hotel in Kusadası for an overnight stay.

Day 3: Ephesus tour & Fly Back to Istanbul (*B *L)
After your breakfast at the hotel, you are picked up from your hotel at 09:00-09:30 to join a full-day Ephesus tour.  You start your visit with Artemis Temple which is one of the 7 wonders of the ancient world, city ruins such as Hadrian Temple, Celcius Library, theater, and hammams, passing through the old harbor path. You have your lunch in a traditional Turkish restaurant.
In the afternoon you visit the House of the Virgin Mary where she spent her last 5 years. This is recognized by the Vatican as a pilgrimage destination for Christians, visited by Pope Leo XII and Benedict XVI.

Please note: The tour ends approximately at 4.00 pm and you are treated to an optional leather fashion show. If you are not interested in, please inform your guide and then you are dropped at our agency office.

At the end of the tour, transfer to the airport to get a flight to Istanbul. Upon your arrival at the airport, you are picked up by our agency representative and transferred to your hotel. End of our service.
