Gallipoli peninsula is located in the Dardanelles Strait and is also known as the place where the Australian and New Zealand Akkied Forces (ANZAC) landed and fought alongside the Turkish forces during World War I. Troy is the famous place as the stage of the legendary Trojan War in Homer’s epic poems the “Iliad” and the “Odyssey as well as its archaeological site with its 4000years history.

Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Gallipoli Tour(*L)
Your guide picks you up from your hotel in Istanbul around 06:30-07:00 am and depart for a drive to go to Gallipoli. On our way, we serve for a small packet for your breakfast. After driving 5 hours, you arrive at Gallipoli and start your visit to different memorials of Dardanelles, such as Brighton Beach, Beach Cemetery, ANZAC Cove, Ariburnu Cemetery, ANZAC Commemorative Site, Respect to Mehmetcik Statue, Lone Pine Australian Memorial, Johnstons Jolly (Turkish and Allied trenches and tunnels), Turkish 57, Infantry Regiment Cemetery, The Nek, Chunuk Bair New Zealand Memorial. You have your lunch in a traditional Turkish restaurant. End of the tour, you take a ferry to Canakkale and go to the hotel.

Day 2: Half day Troy Tour(*B *L)
Troy is a very important archaeological site for Turkey to classify different periods of antiquity with ten layers of habitation from the Neolithic era to the Roman time. Troy is called variously, the city of Helen and Paris, the city of wonders, or the city of independence with a gorgeous richness of history. On this day you have a free morning to enjoy this beautiful town on your own. At 12:00 pm you have your lunch, and then around 13:30-13:45 pm, you start a tour visiting Troy's ancient city. You might be surprised by Trojan Horse at the entrance. You discover over 10 ancient cities built one on another, dating back to 3500 BC, passing through Apollo Temple, fortified city walls, the battlefield where Hector and Achilles fought for power, Roman theater, Greco-Roman Senate roundly shaped building which hosted deputies of democracy.

After the tour, we drive you back to Istanbul. Upon arrival before midnight, you are transferred to your hotel. End of our service.
