What You Can Expect
With reservation we will pick you up with private mini van and driver at your requested place in Istanbul and transport you to Ataturk Airport for your flight to Cappadocia with Turkish Airlines.

Our certified, English speaking guide will to meet with you at the airport exit with a sign showing your name, and drive you to the region of Cappadocia. Upon your arrival at the hotel, you will check in to your cave room. In the evening, if you wish, we will take you to a restaurant to taste the delicious foods of Turkey. The next day our guide will meet with you at the hotel and start your tour of discovery in Cappadocia.

The big carpet factories have interesting demonstrations which are well worth seeing. Some of the big stores are a cooperative subsidised by the State. Anatolian rugs and kilims If you really want to do
your bit to support the local economy. Carpet villages are correct place. At the end of the day, you don't have to buy, you can just have an enjoyable time looking and learning about rugs while sipping a tea or two.


Pottery :
The famous city of Avanos, whose name in old times was Venessa, overlooks the longest river of Turkey, the Kızılırmak (Red River), which also divides
Avanos from the rest of Cappadocia. The most famous historical feature of Avanos, which is still relevant and very visible today, is its production of
earthenware pottery; it is also the most economic activity in the town. The ceramic trade in this district and its countless pottery factories date
right back to the Hittites, and the ceramic clay from the red silt of the Kızılırmak has always been used. It is going to be great exprience to try making pottery and ceramics.


Onyx :
Onyx the word it's self means nail. Greek language it's benefical to skin, nail and hair it belongs to oxite mineral family and consist of mangan calium,
it's volcanic and mineral family stone having 6.5° hardness and and 2.5° instenty, it's taken out from Brazil, India, Arabia and Turkey in tehe world.
In Turkey it's taken from out Bolu, Manisa, Balikesir and specialy cappadokcia. It has twelwe different colours in the world an seven of them are from cappadocia.


Cappadocia Dolls :
Soganli is a peaceful little village set on a hillside in the Saganli valley. Few and mainly old people live there now as the young have moved out. A beautiful rock cut church lies a short walk away with black frescoes mostly undisturbed by defacement.At the entrance to the village sit old women who make
the famous traditional Saganli dolls. They will show you how they make them as well as sell you some - they are well worth it for presents and help support the old people of the village. True Cappadocia is found here, where it has been for a thousand years.


Cappadocia Books :

You can buy books of Cappadocia when you arrive to any stop or museum in Cappadocia. (for around 8-10 USD), but they're not as detailed as you might expect. They cover some basic info backed up with nice pictures.

Day-1
ISTANBUL-CAPPADOCIA

04:30am: Pick up from your hotel in Istanbul. Drive to Airport.

05:20am: Arrive at Istanbul Ataturk Airport.

06:20am: Fly to Cappadocia/Kayseri with Turkish Airlines TK 2014

07:45am: Arrival in Kayseri. Transfer to cave hotel then begin tour.

10:00am: Devrent Valley

10:45am: Pasabag (Monks Valley with lots of fairy chimneys)

11:45am: Avanos (panoramic picture of Avanos and Red River, pottery demonstration, Avanos is the center of pottery and the ceramic art of Turkey.)

12:45pm: Lunch in Avanos

14:00pm: Pigeon Valley

14:20pm: Uchisar Castle Panoramic Stop

14:40pm: Goreme Panoramic Stop
